New EWP gets Ship Repairs off the ground
Sometimes getting off the ground to get to the high jobs entails risks we’d rather not put our people through, so Heron Ship Repair has recently purchased a new 28 metre SkyJack EWP (elevated work platform). This very practical piece of modern equipment allows our blasters and painters to get securely up to those mid-air tasks, and do them safely without the time lag incurred by having to set up scaffolding.
Our Skyjack SJ86T is an axle-based 4WD system with a telescopic boom and 360° continuous turret rotation. It’s driveable at full extension with a work height of 28.21m and platform height of 26.21m, and has a horizontal reach of 23.2m. We’re very pleased with this addition to our equipment range, and our clients will be pleased with the time=cost savings.
