Ship Repair performed an intermediate Maritime Safety Authority marine survey on the Island Passage at the end of 2016 where repairs on her hull plate were carried out.
Following this we stripped out and painted the port and starboard engine rooms and a full service was given to the main engines and generators.
Interior modifications and small repairs were then made and we installed a new 55kva generator unit.
We provided a full strip of the underwater hull, gave the Island Passage a thorough antifoul treatment and a full new paint system.
Touch up repairs were made and we did extensive painting of the topsides, white superstructure and helicopter deck.
Finally, repairs and modifications were made to the large aluminium tender vessels and the Island Passage returned to sea looking and performing amazing.
