When the Spirit was brought to Ship Repair, an intermediate Maritime Safety Authority marine survey was carried out.
A new fuel tank filler was fitted, breather pipe systems were fabricated and modifications were then made to the bulwarks.
All-new middle section for the teak handrail was built and following this, the underwater area of the hull was given antifoul treatment, as were the topsides and black touch up repairs were carried out.
We did a full sandblast and paint of the interior bulwarks of the Spirit, then we repaired and manufactured new anchor winch gypsies.
Finally we carried out general mechanical repairs and maintenance to the engine room.
